Future Shock Corp offer an extensive line of fire-rated glazing and framing products that bring our glass products to a new level. These products will withstand thermal shock and are suited for use with standard fire-rated frames. Fire-rated glass will stop flames and smoke from going from one room to another. That means the glass plays a vital role for limiting the damage. Future Shock has expanded glass-ceramic that fulfills the fire-protective rating requirements.
Standard and Premium Grade Fire Lite
Fire Lite is a 5 mm thick fire rated glazing material. Its main uses are for non-impact and non-safety related locations such as transoms with fire rating requirements ranging from 20 to 90 minutes.
Firelite Plus Laminated Glass
Firelite Plus is a 8mm thick laminated fire-rated and Impact safely rated glazing material. This is best used in doors, sidelights, transoms and borrowed Lites requirements ranging from 20 to 3 hours.
WireLite NT
WireLite is a 6mm fire rated, safely rated Polished Wire Glass, diamond or square, and with a surface applied film. It meets Cat 1 and Cat 2 impact safety criteria and is listed for use in doors, sidelights, transoms and borrowed lites with fire rating requirements for 20, 45, 60, and 90 minutes.
New York fire rated glass and systems provide sufficient protection from flames and heat. Glass can indeed be used as a material to guard people from fires. These systems prevent flames and fumes from spreading into additional areas of a building.
