Examples of historical sites
Palais des Machines was a pavilion constructed for the Exposition Universelle in Paris, late 19th century. Composed of glass, steel and iron, this structure was at the time one of the largest ever created. Following use as an agricultural exhibition hall, it was torn down in 1910.
